Ras Al Khaimah International (RKT) is a small, calm airport, and the walk from the aircraft to the arrivals hall is short — your chauffeur is waiting with a name board by the time you reach it. Most arrivals here are heading to the coast: the beachfront resorts and Al Marjan Island are typically around 20–25 minutes away, the city centre nearer 15. The mountain road up Jebel Jais is the exception — it climbs in long switchbacks and rewards an unhurried pace, so allow closer to 45 minutes to an hour to the summit viewpoints. Ras Al Khaimah has no Salik gates; the drive is toll-free and, like fuel and parking, priced into the fixed rate. Many guests arrive on charter or resort flights, and just as many prefer to land at Dubai’s airports and be driven up the E311 — around 60 to 75 minutes — which we run as one booking. Night arrivals are simple here: the road north is quiet after dark, and the flight is tracked so the pick-up follows the actual landing.
